Garcia / Maldonado was founded by Louis Garcia Maldonado in 1999. and is supported by a dynamic team of design professionals. A native New Yorker with a passion for art and interior design, Louis received his Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design, continued studies at Fashion Institute of Technology and worked in a number of renowned architecture and design firms before launching his namesake firm.

Our Process
Whether the project requires bringing a fresh eye to a familiar room, or finding the heart and soul of a new construction; we collaborate with the client and confront the unique challenges of each project. We begin with consultations and site visits, conduct an in-depth analysis of the project space, solicit bids, monitor and coordinate the construction phase, select furniture and accessories, and stage the final result.
